Advancing Food Safety Pty Ltd is registered by VETAB to provide national qualifications from the Food Processing Training Package. AFS offer a wide range of “food safety/HACCP” specific courses, ranging from half day on-site through to one, two, three and five day courses provided both internally and externally.

AFS is now offering the Diploma in Food Industry Quality Assurance Management in New Zealand. These courses are designed to enhance the skills and knowledge necessary to manage food safety programs with management outcomes, and to provide a "professional status" to those people who have either inherited the role as Food Safety Manager or those who wish to move into this role in the future.

The Diploma is a combination of evidence relating to the prerequisite course attendance, participation in industry roles, assessment tasks and food industry management experience.

Courses are available in Auckland and Christchurch. The courses are practical and interactive, encouraging discussion and debate in a group environment with worked examples. The courses are run by highly experienced trainers, with significant industry experience, participation in course content and all the required trainer qualifications.
